Data Protection Information This page describes how the website manages the processing of the personal data of users who consult it. This information is provided pursuant to the new GDPR 2016/679 regarding the protection of personal data to users who interact with the web services accessible electronically at: https://www.semel.it and https://www.semelkart.it The information is provided only for this website, and not for any other websites that may be consulted by the users via links. The indications provided below specifically regard the collection of personal data on the Internet, with the aim of identifying the minimum measures that must be implemented with regard to the data subjects, in order to guarantee the practices are fair and lawful.

Where data are processed The processing operations connected with the web services on this website are carried out at the location indicated above, and are carried out only by employees, collaborators or persons in charge of data processing, or by figures entrusted with any maintenance operations. No data deriving from the web service will be transmitted or disclosed. The personal data provided by users who send requests for information material to be sent are used only in order to provide the service requested, and are transmitted to third parties only if necessary for this purpose.

Data, purpose and legal basis The IT systems and programs used for the functioning of the website collect some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by visitors to the website, the URI - Uniform Resource Identifier – addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used for submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code of the status of the response given by the server – successful, error, etc. - and other parameters regarding the operating system and the user’s IT environment). Although this information is not collected for the purpose of being associated with identified data subjects, it could, given its nature, make it possible to identify users if processed and combined with data held by third parties. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining statistical information – not associated with any data identifying the user – on the use of the website and to check it is functioning correctly, and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used for verifying responsibilities in the event of any IT offences against the website. The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of your personal data (name, surname, e-mail address, personal details, bank details, etc.) to the address indicated on this website or the filling in of the form to request an estimate or more information on our activity will involve the acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to respond to the requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.

Information request If you have filled in the contact form to request information on our products and/or services, the data you provide will be processed in order to respond adequately to your request. The data you provide will not be processed for any other purpose. The legal purpose is the legitimate interest (art. 6, lett. f of EU Reg. 2016/679) of the Data Controller in responding to a request on the part of the data subject or the carrying out of pre-contractual measures (art. 6, lett. b of EU Reg. 2016/679), since this request for information may result in an offer of our products and/or services. The data will be processed for the amount of time necessary to respond to the request from the data subject.

Methods of processing Personal data are processed using automated means for the amount of time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they have been collected, unless they are the object of processing by the Data Controller for other purposes. Specific security measures are observed to prevent loss or unlawful or incorrect use of data, in compliance with the obligations to observe minimum security measures. In any case, if you withdraw your consent, your data will no longer be processed.

Right to rectification (art.16) or right to erasure of personal data (art.17). Right to restriction (art.18) or right to object to processing (art.21). Right to data portability (art.20). Right to withdraw the consent provided for one or more specific purposes, at any time, without prejudice to the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent (for which you may request erasure). Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority for the protection of personal data (art.77).
